Watch and Jewelry Separation

With our own in-house watch authentication facility and jewelry identification and grading lab, our expert team is well equipped to answer all your questions. We separate your jewelry and watches into 4 categories: Fashion, Sterling, Gold and Diamonds, Estate/Heirloom. This helps determine which items are worth having appraised. Most items are not worth having appraised! Estate/Heirloom quality items are front runners for this and are considered "Best" in watches and jewelry.

Ever wonder what is real? With our years of experience and certifications our expert team can sort and authenticate your watches, jewelry, or diamonds into 4 basic categories.

Fashion

Fashion watches and jewelry have little value and are typically made from pot metal, pewter, steel or copper. They usually feature bight rhinestones, plastics, glass and enamel. Occasionally some pieces are made by prominent designers and will be separated from the rest.

Sterling

We separate sterling silver watches and jewelry into a category of their own. These items are precious metals buy not highly valuable.

Gold and Diamonds

We separate your gold, gemstone and diamond pieces into a separate category. Gold has a higher value and when paired with diamonds and gemstones

Estate/Heirloom

Estate or Heirloom items are those of the highest value that you may want to pass down. We highly recommend these items be appraised and insured. Most common examples are high end watches, large diamonds or significant gold or gemstone pieces.

Watch & Jewelry Appraisals

Assessing your jewelry and timepieces takes an expert eye and a skilled hand. Watch Repair Station can help you protect their investments from one generation to the next.

Our appraiser is a GIA Graduate Gemologist, Pearl Grader, and Accredited Jewelry Professional. We can provide retail replacement value appraisals for insurance purposes.

John Gawronski

NAWCC, AWCI, 30+ Years

Recognized for his work on Rolex Bracelets and his masterful repair abilities, John has been a watchmaker for over 30 years and has had numerous publications written about him. Over his illustrious career, John has worked on hundreds of thousands of different watches from Timex to Rolex!

John is our in-house watch specialist who has extensive knowledge about sorting, identifying, authentication and appraising watches of nearly all varieties!

Kathy Jenkins

GIA GG, AJP, GP, JDT, AWCI, NAWCC

Kathy is our in-house GIA Graduate Gemologist and jewelry appraiser! Having worked in the industry for nearly a decade, she is experienced in gemstone identification and diamond grading.

Owning Watch Repair Station, she is John's apprentice and is learning to be a watchmaker. She has already become a Watch Technician and is the only female professionally restoring Rolex Bracelets.
